An eSIM is a digital SIM built into your device: installing an electronic profile enables mobile data without a physical card. ConnectGo’s planned travel eSIM provides mobile data only — no phone number, voice calls, or SMS — and ConnectGo is not a telecom operator or MVNO.
Two prerequisites: your device hardware must support eSIM, and the device must not be locked by your current carrier. The reliable way to confirm is to check the device maker’s official specifications, or ask the retailer or your current carrier. ConnectGo does not publish a “supported model list” and does not run automatic compatibility checks — the maker and the carrier have the final word.
Recommended: confirm your device supports eSIM and is unlocked; update to the latest system version; have stable Wi-Fi available (installing an eSIM profile needs a network); estimate your data needs by trip length. ConnectGo’s eSIM and activation details are not delivered yet; if purchasing opens later, follow the actual instructions shown with the plan at that time.
A common approach: install while you have a stable network (for example before departure), then enable the data line and roaming after arrival if the plan instructions say so. ConnectGo does not currently deliver any eSIM, QR code, or activation code; if ConnectGo later enables fulfillment, follow the installation and activation timing instructions shown with that plan at that time.
The general methods are scanning a code or entering activation details manually in your device settings; see our general install guide for step-by-step iPhone and mainstream Android instructions. If ConnectGo later enables fulfillment, the actual installation entry and steps will follow the instructions shown with the plan at that time.
General device practice: switch “cellular/mobile data” to the travel eSIM line and keep your original number for calls and texts; turn on data roaming only when the plan instructions explicitly require it, and keep it off otherwise to avoid unexpected usage. This is general device guidance; if an actual plan becomes available later, its instructions at that time take precedence.
Do not delete it before the plan’s data is used up or its validity ends: most eSIM profiles cannot be restored once deleted unless their provider explicitly allows reinstallation. ConnectGo plans are not delivered yet; any reinstall rule would depend on the instructions shown with an actual plan at that time.
General device features: turn the line on or off, rename it (for example “Travel”), and view the device’s usage statistics. Device statistics are only local estimates; ConnectGo currently has no provider-backed usage meter. Read the previous answer before deleting a line.
Check that the email address is correct and look in spam or promotions, then wait briefly before requesting another code. Each code has 4 digits, expires in 10 minutes, and can only be used once; after resending, use the code in the newest email. The verified session is held in an HttpOnly cookie that client-side page code cannot read or manipulate.
Open the “Sign in” page, enter your email to request a code, then enter the 4-digit code from the email. A new email automatically creates an account once verified; new and existing emails are handled exactly the same, with no separate sign-up, sign-in, or password.
Yes. Choose a published plan and quantity, sign in to ConnectGo, and continue to secure Airwallex payment. After payment is confirmed, the system submits the supplier order. Track delivery and view the QR code, manual activation code, and Quick Install in your account. A fulfillment email is also sent after delivery succeeds.
A general device checklist: make sure the correct line is selected for cellular data; toggle airplane mode once or restart the device; enable data roaming when the plan instructions require it; try manual network selection only when the plan instructions name a specific network. ConnectGo plans are not delivered yet; if fulfillment opens later, follow the troubleshooting steps shown with the plan at that time.
If a paid order does not yet show installation details, open it in your account to check the delivery status and refresh. After delivery succeeds, the QR code, manual activation code, and Quick Install are available there, and an order email is sent to the checkout address. If the status does not update for an extended time, email support@connect-go.net with the order number. A sign-in verification code only verifies your account; it is not an eSIM activation code.
Start with the general troubleshooting steps above and consult the installation guide. Your account provides orders, delivery status, installation details, usage, top-ups, and refund actions. If you still need help, use the Contact us page to choose the appropriate official email address.
Where can I find my eSIM after purchase?
Open My orders in your account and expand the order to view its QR code, manual activation code, ICCID, usage, and validity. QR codes and activation codes are sensitive credentials. Do not share them.
Quick installation
Before and after installation
Stay connected to the internet during installation. Do not delete the eSIM unless you have confirmed that it can be installed again. At your destination, switch cellular data to this eSIM. Follow the plan and device instructions when deciding whether to enable data roaming. The QR code and manual activation code remain available if quick installation is unavailable.
